DeadDiskDoctor 1.2 is a file utility that recovers unreadable files from damaged media like CDs, DVDs, floppies and other media.
DeadDiskDoctor is a friendly and easy to use software that allows copying files from scratched or damaged Hard Disk Drives, CDs, DVDs or floppies. The program has only 3 options to choose from: to Copy files from damaged media to a specific folder, to Make a copy of a damaged CD or DVD disk and, to copy files and burn them on a CD or DVD.
Every option guides you step by step providing a good interaction with the user and helping him in every step of the process. For the first option, by pressing the Next button, the DeadDiskDoctor allows you to choose the media (HDD, CD, and DVD) that contains the damaged files and the next step will allow you to select the destination folder where the utility will recover the damaged files. By clicking the Next button, DeadDiskDoctor will start to recover the damaged files providing at the end a summary of the recovering process.
By choosing the option Make a copy of damaged CD or DVD disk, DeadDiskDoctor will ask you the source and a temporary folder to copy the files before to burn it using the third option: to copy files and burn them on CD or DVD. |
